GENERAL INFORMATION
Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 states that ground handling service providers are responsible for ensuring that training programs are in place to ensure that their personnel are properly trained and qualified.
Currently in Spain there is no regulated and regulated training to perform ground handling activities, except for dangerous goods training and security training (AVSEC). It is the companies themselves that are engaged in these types of activities that are responsible for training their personnel to perform such work, so as to comply with the essential requirements provided for in Article 33 of Regulation (EU) 2018/1139.
Thus, there are no EASA-approved training centers for ground handling activity other than dangerous goods training centers у AVSEC.
When we talk about airport operations, we refer to all the activities carried out at an airport to ensure its proper functioning. These operations include aircraft arrivals and departures, cleaning and maintenance of the facilities, cafeteria and restaurant services for passengers, etc. Airport operations also ensure the safety of airport users.

The course content is divided into several modules, which in turn are divided into topics. To complete the learning of the TOA course, it will be necessary, apart from the study of each topic, to carry out a series of activities:
- Practices
- Exercises
- Examinations
- Forums
It is necessary to complete all the activities of each topic in order to advance in the new module.
In order to obtain the TOA certificate issued by IAT, it is essential to pass each of the required tests with a PASS.
The user will have direct communication and tutoring once a week with the course instructor for consultation and resolution of doubts.
Instructors will be able to control the connected time of the users, which will be reflected in each connection they make, as well as to review the activities that are requested to them as a reinforcement to the learning of the subject.
When the student finishes the study of a topic and has completed the activities corresponding to it, it will be reflected as completed in a progress bar with a green stick.
