About the courses
Revalidation: By revalidation you get to extend the validity of a Qualification that has not yet expired. In case you have to revalidate, you will only need to do a 2-hour LPC in a FFS Simulator.
Renewal: Renewal, on the other hand, allows you to restore the validity of a Qualification that has already expired. In case you have to renew and in accordance with AMC FCL.740(b), a tailor-made renewal course will be designed for each case, taking into account your total experience, hours in the type to be renewed, hours as pilots in aircraft of the same family and, especially, the time elapsed since the expiration date of the Rating.
Requirements and Content
THEORETICAL PHASE
Objectives of the Theoretical Phase
- In case the HT determines that, based on the documentation provided, you need to refresh your theoretical knowledge, we will provide you with CBTs, theoretical sessions and the use of the Mock Up.
- If necessary, we would use a static FSTD to expand the knowledge and to reinforce the use of systems in their normal and abnormal parts.
Practical Phase
- In case the FBS training is insufficient, you will be scheduled for training sessions in FFS level D, the same as the one you will use on the day of the Skill Test.
- Each session will be tailored to your needs in order to get the most out of each one of them. We will pay close attention to your evolution and adapt the training to reinforce those areas that require it.
Once you have completed the training, you will have to take a 2-hour Skill Test on a FFS Simulator.
