FNPT II MCC Flight Simulator

At International Aviation Training, we offer you our FNPT II MCC A320 (Multi-Crew Cooperation) flight simulator for training in a realistic, structured and operation-oriented environment. As this simulator is certified, it enables us to deliver courses leading to certification, such as the MCC or APS MCC.

In our A320 FNPT II / MCC simulator, you can practise any real-world scenario you might encounter during your career as an Airbus A320 pilot. It offers a professional simulation environment that faithfully replicates the actual A320 cockpit and is designed to maximise your training. Even if it is not part of a course, the hours spent in the simulator can be included in your logbook, thereby increasing your documented experience.

The FNPT II/MCC rating will enable you to undertake the MCC and APS MCC courses, which are essential for your career as an airline pilot. Training on one of the aircraft types most in demand by airlines will significantly enhance your professional profile. Furthermore, thanks to this rating, you can also log the hours in your logbook.

MCC A320 Training

This A320 FNPT II/MCC is designed for sessions where the pilot needs practical training: clear briefings, carrying out procedures, managing automation and effective in-cockpit communication. The part MCC enables task allocation, CRM (cockpit resource management) and cockpit discipline, with scenarios tailored to the level and objective of each session.

We practise standard procedures as well as scenarios that require judgement, prioritisation and a systematic approach. The aim is for each session to have a clear purpose and a logical progression, tailored to the pilot’s actual needs and the type of operation they wish to practise.

Technical specifications of the A320 FNPT II/MCC

The A320 FNPT II/MCC flight simulator is designed to provide realistic training and focus on the key aspects of cockpit operations: procedures, navigation and decision-making in a controlled environment.

200 degree visual projection

The 200-degree field of view enhances spatial awareness on the circuit, during approach and visual manoeuvres, and helps to train external reference points with greater realism.

Real-time weather with wind shear

Weather conditions can be configured in real time, including wind shear (a sudden change in wind direction that can particularly affect take-offs and approaches). This allows pilots to practise decision-making, techniques and power management in realistic conditions.

WX Radar

The WX radar (weather radar) enables students to practise interpreting echoes and making decisions in the face of convective weather.

Adjustable ILS visibility for CAT I, CAT II, CAT III

ILS visibility can be configured for CAT I, CAT II and CAT III, categories that define minimum standards and requirements for precision approaches in low visibility. It is useful for training in briefing, monitoring and cockpit discipline during approaches.

IFR flight

The simulator enables training in IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) flying, which forms the basis of airline operations for departures, arrivals, holding patterns and instrument approaches.

Normal and emergency procedures, with ECAM faults

Normal, abnormal and emergency procedures can be practised, including those involving ECAM failures (Electronic Centralised Aircraft Monitor: a system that displays alerts and associated actions). This enables the cockpit crew to manage sequences, prioritisation and coordination.

Global database featuring up-to-date VORs, NDBs and ILSs

The system includes airports from around the world and up-to-date radio navigation aids: VOR (omnidirectional radio range), NDB (non-directional beacon) and ILS (instrument landing system). It is useful for practising navigation and real-world procedures.

Instructor panel with dual screens and repositioning

The dual-screen instructor panel allows the aircraft to be repositioned during different phases of flight. This makes training more efficient when the aim is to repeat an approach, a specific go-around or a particular phase of flight.

TCAS

It includes TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System) to simulate alerts, decision-making and coordination with ATC in a realistic manner.

FNPT II/MCC rating and logbook hours

Holders of an FNPT II/MCC rating may log flight hours in their logbook, subject to the applicable regulations and the intended purpose of the session.

If you would like further information about sessions, availability or personalised training on our flight simulator for pilots, at International Aviation Training we will assess your experience and goals to help you plan a training programme tailored to your specific needs.
